Exscalate

Designing an online experience for Exscalate, a company that is
transforming the drug discovery process through AI technology.

 

 

THE PROCESS

After carrying out research into the market and looking at other competitors, I began conceptualising visual routes. We wanted the digital experience to feel inspiring and innovative, reflective of the ground breaking work of the company.

We wanted the digital experience to feel modern, scientific and innovative. After understanding the project’s goals and researching, we designed the platform’s architecture based on competitors, research, and the client’s wishes.

 
 

ICON SCIENCE

Our library of diagrammatic icons helps convey concepts in an abstract way, linking topics like efficiency, precision and adaptability back to molecular science and fighting disease. These icons are used to help divide up information and to illustrate individual points under a theme. For example, some demonstrate the advantages of working with Exscalate. Others accompany the step by-step process of using the platform.

 
 

THE RESULT

The interface is innovative and dynamic, balancing dark and white space successfully, resulting in an engaging platform. Subtle animation has been applied bringing details to life. Components were designed to be fully responsive for mobile use also.
