BRIEF
TrackActive Me is an app that helps you prevent and self-manage muscle, joint, and spine pain. It’s built by physical and occupational therapists. I worked as the lead product designer, responsible for the UX flow through to final product. Working alongside a dev team, project manager and co founders. I conducted research, built out user personas, user flows and created a full design system.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
It isn’t always possible to visit a physiotherapist in person. People need a quick and easy access method of diagnosis and treatment for physio injuries. A service built by experts and one which users can rely on for speed and ease of use.
HYPOTHESIS
We believe that having an-in depth chatbot diagnosis that can fully access the users' needs to injury problems will lead to an accurate diagnosis and a successful recovery plan. We will know this to be true when we see an increase in the rate of recovery amongst users.
SUCCESS METRICS
Recovery Rate: Measure the rate at which users successfully recover from their muscle, joint, and spine pain after utilising the app's diagnosis and treatment features. This metric directly indicates the app's effectiveness in helping users achieve positive outcomes.
User Engagement: Track the level of user engagement with the app, including metrics such as daily or monthly active users, session duration, and frequency of app usage. Higher engagement levels demonstrate that users find value in the app and are actively utilising its features to manage their pain.
User Satisfaction: Gather user feedback through surveys, ratings, and reviews to assess their overall satisfaction with the app. This can help identify areas of improvement and measure user perception of the app's usability, effectiveness, and ease of use.
Completion Rate: Evaluate the percentage of users who complete the entire diagnosis and treatment process provided by the chatbot. A high completion rate suggests that users find the process intuitive and valuable enough to complete, indicating a positive user experience.
Reduction in Pain Levels: Implement a pain assessment scale to track the effectiveness of the app in reducing users' pain levels over time. This could involve periodic surveys or self-reporting by users to gauge the app's impact on their pain management.
Retention Rate: Monitor the percentage of users who continue to use the app over an extended period. A high retention rate signifies that users find ongoing value in the app's features and continue to rely on it for their pain prevention and self-management needs.
